What Is On-demand Lecture?

On-demand lecture is defined as an "officially accredited course offered by a university and made available via the Internet".
Lecture content of the course consists of lecturer videos and digital study materials transmitted to students via the Learning Management System (LMS). Students are able to access lectures anytime and anywhere, including computer rooms at universities and at home, as long as Internet access is available.
In addition, quizzes, reports, questionnaires and discussions on BBS (bulletin board system) take place online via LMS. In particular, discussions held via BBS are distinguished for increased opportunities for communication compared to classroom lectures, through exchanges not only between students and lecturers but among students as well.
Furthermore, team teaching by a faculty member and teaching coaches has been adopted as the teaching scheme for on-demand courses, in order to provide detailed attention to education personalized for each student.
