The Forum for On-demand Lecture Circulation (hereafter referred to as FOLC) takes the protection of FOLC members' information and trust seriously, and follows the proper management, use, and protection of FOLC members' personal information, while strictly adhering to FOLC guidelines and the relevant statutes and laws of Japan, as follows.
1. Collection of Personal Information
At the time of application, FOLC collects the following information: name of the representative and contact person of the organization submitting the application, furigana (pronunciation/reading of name), affiliated organization's name, department, position, address, telephone number, fax number, and email address.
In cases where personal information is collected and used for individual services provided by FOLC, this is clearly stated on the individual service websites.
2. How FOLC Uses Your Personal Information
Sharing information to allow interaction between members is necessary for FOLC to promote the Forum's activities. The collection of personal information is done for the following purposes:
- (1) To issue member accounts to allow access to the FOLC member service site and to certify and manage FOLC member accounts.
- (2) To provide information on the current activities of the Forum and various reports to FOLC members.
- (3) To inform FOLC members of the contact person for members as part of the dissemination of information on registered courses and lecture management.
- (4) To develop new services and improve existing services offered by FOLC.
- (5) To inform members of relevant information to promote the exchange of information and interaction between FOLC members.
- (6) To respond to inquiries by email, post and telephone from FOLC members.
3. Disclosure of Personal Information
FOLC shall not intentionally disclose to any third party personal information about FOLC members, with the following three exceptions.
- (1) If it is claimed on legal grounds.
- (2) If approval is received from the information provider to provide such information to the third party, along with an offer of information and materials.

FOLC takes appropriate measures to prevent the accidental disclosure of collected information and materials to third parties.
4. Procedures to Confirm, Edit, and Delete Your Personal Information
Disclosure, corrections and deletion of personal information may only be requested by the person in question using the "5. Requests about Your Personal Information." Requests to correct or delete personal information will be addressed promptly to the extent reasonable.

6. Revisions to Privacy Policy
FOLC may change the content of this Privacy Policy with the approval of its Board of Directors.
FOLC will notify members about changes to this Policy on the FOLC website.
