CCDL Research Group
With the development of the internationalized society, it is an urgent need to foster human resources who are capable to understand the different culture and to act with a global view even in the higher education institutions. Therefore, the Forum for On-demand Lecture Circulation (FOLC) establishes the CCDL (Cross-Cultural Distance Learning) Research Group as a new project for the purpose of the spread and promotion of CCDL lessons which is conducted with foreign universities using On-demand lessons, video conference system and chat system. Accompanying the circulation of the On-demand contents, FOLC and CCDL Research Group will share the practice method which will permit the domestic and foreign universities to mutually interact.

What is CCDL?
CCDL is a program to acquire cross-cultural understanding and global literacy by interacting with foreign universities' students in foreign languages via the Internet.
Make the cross-cultural exchange in foreign language as an everyday affair

CCDL (Cross-Cultural Distance Learning) is a course designed to improve the practical English language skills and to deepen the cross-cultural understanding. Students communicate with Asian universities' students in English by using networks as video conference system, BBS, writing and vocal chats. Students will deepen the understanding of each other's society, culture and life style by exchanging presentations and chats, and will brush up their practical English language skills.
Students will realize English as a communication tool and achieve a skill to communicate with people who have ifferent ideas by this program which they can discuss directly with non native students of English.
